Very special thanks to good friends of HARAMBEE:

To our friends in Kenya, those who donate to help them are an answer to a prayer, & you are in their daily prayers of gratitude.  I know for certain that God hears and understands Swahili.  Now they know it, too.  God love you all....

  • BILL & THERESA CATELLIER of Glendale, AZ, who graciously opened their home to Dr. Harrison and arranged several presentations & craft sales at St. Thomas More Parish.  Everyone should have friends like these!
  • The anonymous donor who graciously sent a check for $4,000.  Only God and your bank know who you are...but children with full bellies due to your compassionate generosity keep you in their prayers every day!
  • Judy Steed, artist from River Forest, Illinois, who recently had a showing of her beautiful mosaic-framed mirrors and donated a percentage of the profits to us.  If you are looking for a unique holiday or birthday gift, contact Judy at:  judysteed51@hotmail.com
  • Rhonda & Dave Rider, owners & operators of the best little goat farm you'll ever see, out in Winlock, WA (www.bluerosedairy.com [2]) They taught me to make goat cheese & outfitted me with supplies to bring that skill to Kenya.  For an amazingly delicious product, order from their website.
  • JULIA SIMON HUTCHINSON, who has graced us with her artistic renderings of pigs, goats, and chickens.  We use them on our gift cards.
  • The family of John & Eileen McGleam
  • HEIDI HORAN, proof that a single person can make a very big difference for change.  She is an angel without wings but still manages to log many flying hours.
  • St. Raphael's Faith Community, [3] Naperville, IL
  • St. Giles Parish [4], Oak Park, Illinois
  • Wayne & Kathy Lape
  • Selena Derry, Ibeji Resource Center [5], Chicago, IL
  • Women's Association [6], Union Church of Hinsdale

And many others, whom we will add as time permits
