Dr. Harrison was awarded the 2007 Soroptimist International award  in Helena, Montana for "Women Who Make A Difference."    Below are the comments  addressed to Soroptimists about her work and this award.

Thank you, volunteers Linda Girard & your friends--for obtaining all these shoes for Kenyan children!  Because of you, they now will be able to attend school.  ONE PERSON can make a difference in the world!
